Willington and District League - Willington Market put themselves in a very strong position when they won in the decider at Willington Black Horse Tavern.
This victory leaves the Market two points clear at the top of the table from Hunwick Club with just one match left to play.
Tommy Barrass put the Market ahead but then the Horse came back with wins from Donald Young and Michael Hunter. Gary Trow levelled the match with Alan McAloon taking the Market to victory by beating Alan Irwin.
The Prospect Club completed their season with a three point victory at Willington Commercial but cannot improve on their current third place. Dessie Ayre put the Commercial ahead but then the Prospect had wins from Ernie sample, Adrian Peacock, Phil Blyth and Lane Sample.

Tow Law and District League
Tow Law New Market B moved back to the top of the table when they only dropped one point to the visiting Tow Law Rose and Crown, who had Colin Hayton as their only point scorer.
The Market's winners were Jim Day, Gary Watson, Ray Weir and Colin Armstrong. This win pushed the New Market B two points clear of Lanchester King's Head.
Tow Law Football Club moved into third place, five points behind Lanchester King's Head but with a match in hand, when games went with downs as they entertained Tow Law Cattle Mart. Arthur Henderson and Terry Ginty won for the footballers with David Hall and David Raine replying. In the decider Isaac Slack, the Football Club captain, beat Wayne Tennant.

Crook League
Crook Royal Sun bounced back to share the top spot in the First Division after they only dropped one point to the visiting Crook Olde Horse Shoe A. The Sun share the spot with Crook Mill House, who edged through to an odd point win at Crook Jelly's Bar A.
The Spitfire Club took a big beating when they went to Crook Queen's Head B and only collected one point. This cost them a share of the top place, which is now held by Crook Surtees, despite their odd point home defeat by Croft Social Club.

Tow Law Area League
Ithe first week of the new season last year's champions, Esh Stag's Head went down in the deciding doubles at Sunniside Moss Inn. The Moss picked up singles wins from John Howe, Keith Heslop, Lee Cullinan and Colin Jacques. The Stag's only singles points came from David Metcalfe and Mattie Walker. The first two doubles went to the Stag's to level the match but then the father and son team of Lol and Lee Cullinan of the Moss beat John Hodgson and David Metcalfe.
Tow Law Station faced a four-point deficit when they entertained Sunniside Comedian, who had early wins from Raymond Wright, Jeff Ridley, John Smythe and Harold Bowes. From there however the Station took over with singles wins from Jacqueline Hope and George Hope being followed by all three doubles points.
