CRIMESTOPPERS are asking for help in identifying two youths who attempted to steal eight bottles of whisky from the Co-op in Coxhoe.
The youths entered the store in Commercial Street at about 7.55pm on Tuesday, March 20.
They hesitated before entering the shop warehouse, and when a staff member went to investigate they were confronted by one of the youths carrying a full box of Co-op whisky. The youth was told to put the box down, which he did before he and his friend left the store. Their actions were recorded on CCTV cameras.
Male one is described as white, in his early twenties, 5ft 10in, skinny build with a spotty complexion. He was wearing a light coloured baseball cap and dark coloured bodywarmer jacket.
The second is described as white, in his early twenties, 5ft 9in, thin build, wearing a light coloured baseball cap with a white collared shirt and a dark coloured anorak.
