A SINGLE mother has opened a shop to cater for young women looking for cheap baby clothes.
Paula Amos, 27, was pregnant with her second child, Jackson, when she hit on the idea of providing second hand baby equipment for young mums.
With the help of InBiz, a North-East- based national organisation which helps people find work, Paula set up a business selling second-hand goods.
She said: "When I started looking around for a pram and baby things for Jackson, I couldn't believe how expensive new things were. So I thought I'd have a go at opening a shop that would help single mums like me, who have a limited budget and want the best for their kids."
Paula, who also has a seven-year-old son, Aaron, received £1,200 from the Prince's Trust to help fund her shop, in Elliott Street, Hartlepool.
