GNER is to offer half-price first class rail tickets on the East Coast Mainline as a summer promotion.
The operator, which operates London to Scotland services, will run cheap off-peak tickets from July 19 to September 7, as long as they are booked three days in advance.
It includes return prices from London-Aberdeen for £99, London to Edinburgh for £85 and York to Edinburgh/Glasgow return for £69.
The Selby and Hatfield train crashes happened on GNER's lines and it is trying to claw back customers after the disruption following the track repair programme.
Senior product manager Clare Braithwaite said: "We are targeting travellers who are currently choosing to drive or take the plane and persuading our regular travellers to upgrade to first class.''
