Willington and District League - Willington Market celebrated their title win after beating the visiting Willington Football Club by the odd point.
Tommy Barrass and Gary Trow put the Market into the lead but Beverley McMahon pulled one back for the footballers. The home side made certain of the title when Brian Clough took the third point, while Christina Jackson finished the match by taking the final point for the footballers.
Hunwick Club finished as the runners-up after they beat the visiting Howden Australian A by the odd point. Dave Thompson, Ian Richardson and Mike O'Brien took points for the Club, while both father and son, Mark Richardson took the points for the Aussie. This left Hunwick Club two points behind the Market, but four ahead of the Prospect Club and Hunwick Quarry Burn, who share third place.

Crook League
Crook Royal Sun opened a five points gap at the top of the First Division when they dropped two points to their hosts at Crook Travellers Rest B. However from the two points gained by the home team that won by Peter Coates was significant in that he beat the league's leading singles player, Kenny Smith. The other point for the home side came from Bill Fairhurst. The Sun had singles points from Graham Johnson, Paul Emerson, John Hunt and Kevin Clark with Johnson and Emerson adding the doubles point.
Crook Mill House are five points behind leaders Royal Sun but with a match in hand, while the Travellers Rest A are a further seven points adrift.
Crook Surtees lead the Second Division by three points from Crook Spitfire Club with Croft Social Club a further three points adrift in third spot.

Tow Law Area League
Sunniside Comedian inflicted the first defeat on the visiting Esh McKennas and so moved up to share the third place in the table with them. There were singles wins for the Comedian from Raymond Wright, Peter Moore, Dave Thompson and Chris Ridley with Brian Johnson and Chris Pearson replying. The home side went on to win by taking two of the three doubles points. Newhouse Club lead the table after defeating Esh Stag's Head for the loss of two points. This moved them ahead of Tow Law Rose and Crown and Sunniside Moss Inn, who share second place.

Tow Law and District League
Tow Law Football Club moved up to third spot after they whitewashed visiting league leaders, Tow Law New Market B, allowing Lanchester King's Head to go two points clear at the top. The New Market B lead the footballers by two points but the third placed side have a match in hand.
Tow Law Football Club winners were Keith Muse, Arthur Henderson, Isaac Slack, Terry Ginty and Charlie Donaghy, with their captain, Isaac Slack going on to take the captain's game against Jim Day. Hamilton Row moved up to fourth spot after they took an odd point win in the decider when they visited Tow law Cattle Mart. Barry Sims and Steve Wilkie moved the visitors ahead but Stephen Boughey and Wayne Tennent levelled. In the decider Hamilton Row's Mark Kennedy beat Alison Boughey.
