THE region's newest music web site has been launched.
Called Revolution, it offers local bands a chance to appear on the world wide web alongside established national and international acts.
The site contains gig guides, news, interviews and reviews and is part of The Advertiser's and The Northern Echo's popular thisisthenortheast site.
As well as featuring on our own pages, bands can get a free web site of their own through our Communigate scheme, which aims to give members of the community their own net space.
Revolution will be regularly updated with items from the pages of The Northern Echo and its weekly 7Days entertainment supplement, as well as with a host of exclusive features.
Visitors to the site can also take advantage of our noticeboard section, where musicians can find new band members or advertise for sale their unwanted instruments.
l Revolution can be found at www.thisisthenortheast.co.uk/revolution.
l For more information about how to build a free web site for your club or charity through CommuniGate contact our community web editor Alison Nicholson on (01325) 505270, email: community
