A FUNDRAISING event in aid of Darlington's St Teresa's Hospice proved a "knockout" success.
Staff from a number of Darlington companies battled with giant inflatables and water hazards to take part in the Knockout 2001 event, which took place yesterday.
It was held at Darlington Rugby Club and attracted volunteers from Cummins, Barclays Bank, Darlington Building Society and Orange.
The event was based on the 1980s hit television show It's A Knockout, which pitted teams against each other in wacky games.
All cash raised will go the hospice, which supports people suffering from terminal illnesses
