THE final set of plans for a major housing development in part of Darlington have been submitted.
Darlington Borough Council has already given approval to a number of applications for the development of land at Bourne Avenue, in the Eastbourne area of town.
The plans will eventually see an estate build up around the Eastbourne Sports Complex and have been submitted by Darlington developer Bussey and Armstrong and by the Railway Housing Fund.
This latest application has been submitted by Bussey and Armstrong, the firm behind the Darlington West Park scheme, which is expected to build a new community in the Faverdale area.
These proposals are for 11 two-storey homes and 33 flats in two and three-storey buildings, with road access and parking.
The application is expected to be deliberated by the council's planning applications committee in the near future
