FAMILIES in west Redcar will be able to swap roles for five days of fun and learning at the Coatham Local Learning Centre at Coatham School, in Redcar, next week.
The free activity programme is available to families living in the Dormanstown, Coatham, Kirkleatham and Newcomen wards, as part of a package funded by money from the Single Regeneration Budget.
Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's Adult Education Service offers adults a crash course on computers for beginners and a series of creative lifestyle ideas, covering aromatherapy, flower art, glass painting and beauty and skin care.
And while the parents learn, the council's neighbourhood services department has lined up all sorts of activities for the youngsters including watersports, go-karting, a treasure hunt, swimming, team games and arts and crafts.
For further details call the centre on (01642) 756454.
