THE Northern Echo and 96.6 TFM have joined forces to offer readers the chance to meet one of the biggest pop groups of the moment.

A1 will be appearing at the Feel the Noise Live event, sponsored by Natwest, in Stockton on Sunday, and one lucky person along with a friend has a chance to meet the four boys.

Mark, Ben, Christian and Paul, who were at number one earlier this year with Take on Me, a cover of the classic 1980s A-Ha song, have also enjoyed top ten success with a handful of other singles and have sold more than a million records in the UK.

The winner, who will be the envy of an expected 100,000 crowd, will be invited backstage to meet the group for a chat and photographs.

Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The band will be joined on stage by former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, who is headlining the event, part of the Stockton International Riverside Festival.
