OWNERS of The Hide in Yarm will be hoping lots of people seek out their caf bar which boasts a first for the North -ast.
The Hide, which opened up at the weekend, has a wood-burning oven for cooking pizzas - the first of its kind outside London.
The new eaterie in the town centre has already created jobs for 40 people.
Hide Caf Bar and Grill takes its name both from its location - hidden away off Yarm High Street - and the fact that the site was a 19th century tannery.
It aims to provide daytime caf-style refreshments, transforming into a modern bar and restaurant in the evenings.
Manager Mr Jonathan Hall said the atmosphere will be laid back.
"We are trying to create a mood and an experience like nothing else people have found before," he said.
At the pizza bar, customers can watch their food being cooked on the wood-burning oven
