VISITORS to a new exhibition at the Margrove Heritage Centre, near Guisborough, can have fun giving their own titles to the images on view.
The exhibition, called "Seeing is Believing - Or Is It?" is a collection of 24 photographs and digital processing images produced by retired art teachers Brian Smith and John Brelstaff, both of whom taught at Guisborough's Laurence Jackson School.
Phil Philo, Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's museums curator, said: "The novelty is that none of the pictures are titled. Visitors can make up their own titles.
"Included are shots and images of the natural world, featuring shapes in the sand or rocks on the beach that at first appear to be something else. Hence the title Or Is It?"
The exhibition runs until September 30. The centre is open Monday to Thursdays, 10am-4.30pm, and Sundays, noon-5pm.
