A BUSINESS advisor who died suddenly has been described as genuinely caring for everyone he helped.
Family man Mike Franklin, who worked for the job creation firm InBiz, at Redcar, died at the age of 55.
Lifelong friend Kevin Willey, who spoke at Mr Franklin's funeral, said: "He was a larger- than-life character in every way with a huge sense of caring and a terrific personality.
"He put his own special stamp on everything he did and will be sadly missed."
Mr Franklin was involved in an ex-catalogue shop, Franklin's of Saltburn, and a shop at Redcar, where he ran auctions, before becoming a business advisor for InBiz, at Redcar, helping people to move into self-employment.
InBiz chief executive Terry Owens described Mr Franklin, who lived at Stockton, as a warm, ebullient man, who genuinely cared about everyone he helped. Mr Franklin's widow, Jane, is also an Inbiz business advisor with InBiz.
