DETECTIVES investigating an arson attack at an empty farmhouse are checking an estate agent's list of potential buyers.
More than 100 people have shown interest in Snipe Gate Farm, near Thornley Village, Tow Law, which is on the market for £125,000.
A relative of the owner called police at the weekend when she found signs of several small fires, which had burned themselves out without causing serious damage.
A spokesman for Crook CID said: "A lot of people have looked at the property, but always with a representative from the estate agent. We are checking through the viewing list but it is several pages long."
