STARS from TV soap Emmerdale are heading for Darlington to take part in a charity cricket fun day.
The event, in aid of BBC Children in Need, will see cast members lining up against Radio Cleveland presenters at Darlington Cricket Club's Feethams ground on Sunday, August 12.
Names confirmed for the soap team include John Middleton (Rev Ashley Thomas), Chris Chittell (Eric Pollard), Glenn Lamont (Richie Carter) and Patrick Mower (Rodney Blackstock).
Alongside Radio Cleveland, presenters Alan Wright and Roy Leonard, will be Darlington club's Mark Stainsby and Blaydon CC professional Nehemiah Perry.
There will be a fully licensed bar and barbeque, a raffle, quick cricket and a bouncy castle.
Tickets cost £2 for adults and £1 for children and are available from BBC Radio Cleveland, or from the cricket club after 7pm.
