THREE nightclub doormen appeared in court yesterday, accused of beating up a customer.
Karl Spence, 21, and Shaun Mansell, 31, from The Zanzibar Club, in Stockton, agreed to be bound over for a year at Teesside Crown Court for the sum of £200 after the attack on Sukhinder Singh Mann.
Spence, of Thornwood Close, and Mansell, of Harebell Close, both Ingleby Barwick, denied causing grievous bodily harm between November 30 and December 3. The judge, Recorder Geoffrey Mason, directed not guilty verdicts.
The third man, Aaron Brown, 36, of Leeholme Court, Thornaby, who was off duty, admitted grievous bodily harm. He was remanded on bail for pre-sentence reports.
