A WOMAN has fought back from car crash injuries to set up her own business.
Ann Stonehouse, 32, suffered injuries which stopped her sitting her final exams to become a chartered accountant.
At the time, she was supervising a finance department.
After the setback, she decided to make a new start, and now runs her own business providing accountancy services for self-employed people.
Ms Stonehouse, of Coulby Newham, Middlesbrough, said: "Most businesses use an accountant once a year to produce their annual accounts, whereas I would like to persuade them about the economics of having someone look at their finances through the year."
She received help setting up her business from the Middlesbrough branch of InBiz, a national business support organisation.
