POLICE will reward Teesside youngsters for keeping out of trouble by taking them ten-pin bowling tomorrow.
About 60 Stockton teenagers will travel to the Hollywood Bowl at Teesside Park, courtesy of the bus company, Stagecoach, for an afternoon of bowling.
The youngsters, from the Roseworth, Primrose Hill, Ragworth, Norton Grange, Albany and Glebe estates, are being rewarded for their efforts after proving to youth club leaders that they have been well behaved this summer.
All the young ten-pin bowlers will receive trophies and prizes.
Sergeant Mark Russell, from the North Stockton Community policing team, which has organised the event, said: "Young people up and down the country are often blamed for causing vandalism and damage on housing estates.
"We have been working very closely with the youth clubs in and around the Norton area to reduce incidents of this type of behaviour and it's nice to reward these young people for their efforts in keeping out of bother.
