ORGANISERS of the Great Yorkshire Airshow say this year's will be the best yet.
The event will be held at the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington, near York, over the next Bank Holiday weekend, on August 26 and 27.
There will be plenty of classics on show as well as some of the latest jet fighters.
The Red Arrows and the RAF's Falcons sky-diving team will be in action .
There will be a fairground, and vintage car display.
Gates open at 8.30am with runway events starting at 11am. The air show will begin at 1pm. Tickets are £12 for adults, children £6 and pensioners £10. Family tickets, for two adults and two children, are £32.
