Middlesbrough defenders Gareth Southgate and Ugo Ehiogu have been included in Sven-Goran Eriksson's England squad to face Holland on August 15.
The former Aston Villa pair are part of a 26-man squad which also includes Bayern Munich's Canadian-born midfielder Owen Hargreaves.
David Seaman isn't included in the squad, raising further doubts over the veteran 'keepers international future and there is no place for Arsenal teammate Sol Campbell, who is still recovering from injury.
Injuries have also prevented Leeds' Rio Ferdinand and Real Madrid's Steve McMananman from playing any part in the White Hart Lane clash.
The full 26-man England squad to face Holland in a friendly at White Hart Lane on August 15 is: Martyn (Leeds), James (West Ham), Wright (Arsenal); Ashley Cole, Keown (both Arsenal), Powell (Charlton), P Neville, G Neville, Brown (all Manchester United), Mills (Leeds), Carragher (Liverpool), Southgate, Ehiogu (both Middlesbrough); Beckham, Scholes, Butt (all Manchester United), Gerrard (Liverpool), Carrick (West Ham), Hargreaves (Bayern Munich), Lampard (Chelsea), Barmby (Liverpool); Owen, Fowler, Heskey (all Liverpool), Andy Cole (Manchester United), Smith (Leeds).
Meanwhile Middlesbrough new boy Jonathan Greening last night accused Sir Alex Ferguson of showing a lack of belief in his ability.
Greening is aiming to prove that the Manchester United manager was wrong to let him leave Old Trafford.
Scarborough-born Greening and United teammate Mark Wilson yesterday completed a £3.5m double deal to renew their association with Boro boss Steve McClaren, Ferguson's former right-hand man.
Both Greening and Wilson, who have agreed five-year contracts with Boro, were unable to establish themselves as first-team regulars under Ferguson.
But Greening, who has cost Boro £2m, yesterday insisted: "I think I was good enough to make it at United, so I'll be trying to prove a point to people who didn't really believe in me.
"The move gives me a chance to get into the first team and play regularly. It was a hard decision, but there comes a time when you think that if you're not playing regularly, you've got to move.
"So when I asked to leave and Steve came in for me it was a really good feeling.
"When other players have been injured at United, I've come in and done a job, but I've just turned 22 and at my age I want to start playing regularly - 40 games a season.
"But I know it's going to be hard because there are a lot of good players here.''
Greening moved to Old Trafford from York City nearly three-and-a-half years ago and made 27 senior appearances for United. Fellow midfielder Wilson, also 22, made 11 appearances.
