A DALES market town celebrates its past this weekend, with a programme of events raising money for charity.
Guided tours of Masham and its church, an exhibition of memorabilia linked to the town's Victorian railway station, a table-top model of the building, and activities for children, all begin at 10am tomorrow.
Demonstrations of glass-blowing, showings of a video highlighting the town's attractions and a re-enactment of punishment meted out in the stocks are also planned.
On Sunday, the fire service has arranged a display of modern and vintage fire engines.
A craft fair at the Black Sheep Brewery also coincides with the programme, coordinated by the Mashamshire Association of Tourism and Trade to mark the 750th anniversary of the granting of the town's market charter.
Most of the proceeds will be shared between the Martin House Hospice at Boston Spa, Hospice Home Care, St Mary's Church in Masham and the town's youth club
