GOLFERS are getting ready to tee off in a charity tournament later this month.
More than 150 players will raise money for the Friends of Gleneagle, a Middlesbrough charity which provides respite care for children with disabilities, in a charity pro-am tournament at Wynyard Golf Club, on Wednesday, August 29.
Organisers have set a fundraising target of £10,000, which will be used to create a sensory garden, buy equipment for an outdoor play area, and help offset the cost of outings.
There are still a few vacancies for team entries, and anyone interested is asked to contact Detective Constable Dave Halliday, on (01642) 301248.
