A FULL weekend of racing is on offer this weekend - thanks to The Clarion and its sister paper, The Northern Echo.
The newspapers are sponsoring a fun filled day at Redcar Racecourse on Sunday.
Gates open at 11am and attractions include a funfair, performances by the National Festival Circus, Punch and Judy, bouncy castle, clown face painting and a roaming entertainer, with the TFM Roadshow between 11am and 2pm.
A family ticket for two adults and two children can be purchased before the racing on Sunday, for just £4.50, which gains access to the course enclosure. Otherwise, there will be a nominal charge of £1 for children.
Racing on Sunday begins at 2.35pm with The TFM Roadshow Is Here Today Median Auction Maiden Stakes over nine furlongs.
The feature races are The Northern Echo Handicap Stakes over seven furlongs, The Clarion Handicap Stakes over a straight mile and The Tote Credit Club Nursery Handicap Stakes for two-year-olds over six furlongs.
Racegoers will also have the opportunity to win £100 in Tote betting vouchers in a special racecard competition run in conjunction with The Northern Echo and The Tote.
Tomorrow's racing starts at 2.30pm.
