BEVERLEY and Leslie Bailey enjoyed getting married so much, they did it all over again yesterday.
After just a year of wedded bliss, the couple took part in one of the first affirmation of vows ceremonies to be held in the country.
The ceremonies, offered by North Yorkshire County Council, offer couples a chance to renew their vows in front of family and friends.
For Beverley, 41, and Leslie, 42, the register office in Whitby was the ideal venue for the service, bringing back memories of their earliest times together.
Beverley said: "We fell in love with the place and we just had to get married here. The affirmation of vows is a wonderful idea, and we couldn't wish for a nicer place for it. Whitby is a place that will always be in our hearts."
