WORK at one of Saltburn's major attractions is nearing completion.
Saltburn Miniature Railway has been closed since before Easter after it was hit by flooding problems.
In April, Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council gave permission to the team of volunteers who run the railway to relocate the engine shed and ticket office to the other side of Skelton Beck, which runs through Valley Gardens, in Saltburn.
The shed has been built and a ticket office is in the process of being built. Work has also started on building the platform and relaying track.
Organisers say they are hopeful that the railway will be open before the end of the month.
