LARGE photographs of a murder victim have been pasted up across a neighbourhood in a bid to jog people's memories.
They show market trader Kalvant Singh, who fell to his death from a window in Middlesbrough, on Monday, both with and without a turban.
Detectives are sitting at the bedside of unemployed Michael Moody waiting for the 54-year-old to become sufficiently conscious to give them an explanation of what happened.
Mr Singh was found lying in the backyard of a house in Errol Street, which was tenanted by Mr Moody who was discovered in the rear living room of the house with serious facial injuries.
Copies of his photograph are also being displayed in streets in central Middlesbrough.
The house in Errol Street was being used as a brothel.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: "The police caravan set up at the scene has attracted a number of people with information about activities that have gone on at the house, which was known to have been frequented by prostitutes and their clients.''
Anyone with information can contact the police on (01642) 303188 or 303189, or in confidence on 07799 993851.
