VISITORS to a North-East museum will be able to pick up bargain books and Northumbrian crafts this weekend.
Bede's World, at Jarrow, is holding a book and craft fair with demonstrations by some of Northumbria's best craft experts, including woodturning, teddy bear making, spinning and painting.
Examples of their work will be on sale to visitors alongside a large collection of second-hand books. The event has been organised by The Friends of Bede's World
The fair is on today, from 10am to 5.30pm, and tomorrow, from noon to 3.30pm.
Admission is half price, £2.25 for adults and £1.25 for children, senior citizens and the unemployed. English Heritage members and Friends of Bede's World get in free
