AN international festival starts today on Teesside.
Billingham Folklore Festival starts at 1.45pm with a parade and concert.
Groups from all corners of the globe will perform their traditional music and dance from today until next Saturday.
Performances will be staged in the festival marquee at John Whitehead Park, the Forum Theatre and the College Theatre.
Tonight, a ceilidh is being held at the College Theatre, while groups from Costa Rica, Canada, Moldova, US, Finland and Mexico will perform at the Forum.
Tomorrow, there is a chance to meet international groups at the College Theatre and try the Mexican hat dance, Modolvan gypsy dance, or dance to Latin American and African rhythms.
Other events through the week include an international line dance evening, a North American night and a Latin American night.
