POLICE have reissued an appeal for information after a teenage gunman tried to rob a woman at a bus stop.
The attack happened on Wednesday, at about 11pm, at the junction of Salters Lane South and Salters Avenue, Darlington.
The woman was returning home after visiting a friend near St Andrew's Church, in the Haughton area of town.
The teenager, aged about 14 or 15, approached her and produced what she believes was a black handgun and pointed it at her, demanding money.
After she said she had no money, he walked away.
The gunman is described as 5ft 3in, clean shaven, of medium build and with a local accent. He had short, mousy or blond, straight hair, and wore a blue hooded anorak, dark tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
