A CENTENARIAN is the centre of attention following an eventful journey.
The 100-year-old drift net wooden fishing boat, Reaper, was open to the public at Hartlepool Marina at the weekend, before moving farther down the coast to Whitby this week.
The old sailing lugger, pictured, caused a stir on its way to Hartlepool from Scotland when the vessel began taking in water, off the Northumberland coast.
The Amble lifeboat was joined by an RAF Rescue helicopter in a combined operation to bring the Reaper safely back to shore
