A MAN died and three other people were injured after a car and a coach collided at an accident blackspot.
The accident happened just to the west of Golden Hill, on the A64, between York and Malton, in North Yorkshire.
The car driver died and two men and a woman from the coach were taken to Malton Hospital with minor injuries. It was believed the people in the coach were from the Merseyside area, returning from a trip to Goathland.
Sergeant George Mead, of North Yorkshire Police, said the coach had been travelling towards York and the silver Toyota Corolla car towards Malton when the accident happened at about 4.50pm on Friday.
