MARATHON men Martyn Lowrie and Gerry Hehir have raised more than £2,000 for the Bethany Davison Appeal.
Bethany, two, daughter of Sedgefield PC Mick Davison and his wife Nicola, suffers from cerebral palsy and epilepsy resulting from complications after her birth.
The cash flowed in from sponsors after Inspector Lowrie, who works at the Newton Aycliffe armed support unit, and Mr Hehir, fitness suite manager at the Teesdale Sports Centre, Barnard Castle, completed in the London Marathon in April
