BOY band A1 were the stars yesterday as children's television favourite Blue Peter took its first roadshow to the seaside.
The chart-topping group performed before an audience of hundreds of screaming fans on the beach at Scarborough.
The show, fronted by presenters Konnie Huq, Simon Thomas, Matt Baker and Liz Barker, was broadcast live on BBC 1 last night.
Live games and challenges were hosted, while the show also took a look at the major attractions for visitors to the seaside resort.
Get Your Own Back presenter Lisa Brockwell led the pre-show entertainment with a video karaoke event and audience competitions
