DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses after an attack at a filling station, which left a man badly injured.
The incident happened at 7.30pm, on Saturday, when the victim called for petrol at the Red Tiles filling station, at Kaysburn, on the outskirts of Langley Park, County Durham.
The man, in his late 20s, was punched and kicked repeatedly. He was taken to the University Hospital of North Durham with head injuries.
Detective Constable Kevin Hall is anxious to speak to people on the forecourt who saw the attack. They are asked to call (01207) 504204.
