England coach Sven Goran Eriksson is refusing to panic after his team were given a Dutch masterclass at White Hart Lane.
Holland outclassed their hosts as they cruised to a 2-0 victory which wrecked Eriksson's perfect record of five wins out of five.
It was a brutal lesson for England ahead of their crucial World Cup qualifier in Germany on 1 September.
Mark van Bommel's stunning 35-yard rocket stunned Nigel Martyn in the England goal to put Holland ahead on 38 minutes.
A minute later, Manchester United's new £19m striker Ruud van Nistelrooy hit a typical poacher's goal to make it 2-0.
Despite the result, Eriksson remains confident his side can still win in Munich.
He added: "We played against a very good side and maybe we gave them too much respect.
"We learnt that we should go out with a better attitude - even if they are Holland we should go out and attack them."
The Swede said he was satisfied with the international debut of Bayern Munich's 20-year-old midfielder Owen Hargreaves.
He said: "He played in a position he's not used to playing. It was interesting to see him and he played a good game. I don't think it was too early for him."
