STAFF on board the Tuxedo Princess have sailed through a safety training programme.
Ten of the maintenance staff on the Tyne's floating nightclub completed the intensive health and safety training course devised by local training provider, Lifeforce.
Paul Mackings, managing director of Absolute Leisure, which owns and manages the ship, said: "We place the highest priority on maintaining our excellent record of health and safety both for our staff and customers.
"To achieve this we are constantly looking at ways to furnish our staff with the most up-to-date and specialist information to ensure they're confident in handling a variety of safety issues and situations."
