Saltburn Tennis Club is on something of a roll after celebrating a double promotion success.
The club's A team have achieved their second successive promotion, reaching division one of the Durham and Cleveland league just one season after climbing into the second division.
Meanwhile, the B team have moved up from division four to division three to underline the excellent progress made by the club's players in recent seasons.
A delighted club chairman Stan Heward said: "For the last number of years we have been in the wilderness, but at the start of last season we could see light at the end of the tunnel.
"Matches were being won instead of lost and morale was very high."
Mr Heward, who is also the first team captain, was joined in the latest promotion-winning campaign by Paul and Stephen Moore, Alan Bulman, Dave Parkes, Russell McDonald and Graham Rose.
He found it difficult to put his finger on the reason for Saltburn's improvement, but said: "The players seem more motivated and we've had some luck with injuries."
The club is going from strength to strength off the court as well as on it. With the help of a lottery grant secured by the Saltburn Cricket, Bowls and Tennis Club, a new pavilion is being built to provide the most modern facilities. It is due to open in November.
Four hard courts and two grass courts - a rare luxury which is very popular with the players - complete the rosy picture for Saltburn.
Mr Heward thinks new players may be needed to maintain the club's top flight status and would welcome anyone who wished to join.
