MILITARY vehicles ranging from bicycles to heavy armour will invade a museum during the bank holiday weekend.
The North-East Military Vehicle Club's 28th annual rally will take place at the Durham Light Infantry Museum and Durham Art Gallery and will include more than 70 restored vehicles.
The majority of the exhibits at the two-day rally are from the Second World War, but there will also be an array of post-war and modern equipment.
Heavy artillery will include two Vickers 3.7 anti-aircraft guns which saw action along the North-East coast from 1939 to 1945.
Among the displays will be a fully-operational Second World War cook house, headquarters office, field dressing station, a post-war radio and communications centre and a selection of outdoor stalls.
The rally will be open from 10am to 4pm, on Sunday and Monday, August 26 and 27.
Parking and admission are free.
