IRISH pop sensation Samantha Mumba has been added to the line-up of another North-East concert.
The singer, who appeared at yesterday's One Big Sunday event, in Middlesbrough, will be on the bill at Metro Radio's Feel the Noise concert, at Newcastle Racecourse on Sunday.
She is filming in Hollywood with Steven Spielberg and will showcase her forthcoming single, Baby Come on Over. British soul diva Mica Paris will make an appearance at the concert.
Her single, High Heels and Lowlifes, is the title song of the new Minnie Driver film of the same name.
Other artists performing are Steps, A1, The Honeyz, allSTARS, N-Trance, Liberty, Rebeckah Ryan, Skandal, Reel, Artful Dodger and All Saints' Melanie Blatt.
The station hopes to add further acts to the bill. Metro radio managing director Sally Aitchison said: "It's a real coup for Metro Radio to secure these two singers for the Feel the Noise Live concert. Samantha Mumba is a huge star and we are delighted that she has agreed to appear in the North-East.
"We are all very excited about what is going to be a wonderful day.''
Tickets cost £2 and are available at Nexus Travelshops, in Tyne and Wear.
The station will make a donation from every ticket sold to its charity appeal Just For Kids. Ticket-holders will be able to travel free on the Tyne and Wear system all day.
