AN art group will mark the end of its first year with an exhibition to show off members' work.
The Grosvenor Artists Collective, which meets once a month at Bishop Auckland's Discovery Centre, has put together its first exhibition at Witham Hall, Barnard Castle.
The exhibition started on Thursday this week and will continue until next Wednesday.
The group was set up by local artists James Lowther and Vicky Holbrough to offer the chance for those who often work alone to meet like minded individuals and discuss ideas and offer support to each other.
The group spent an afternoon in Barnard Castle exploring and observing the town, taking photographs and working on preliminary sketches.
Individual pieces created from that visit will form the centrepiece of the exhibition.
