A ventriloquist and puppet workshop for five to seven year olds, with Ward Allen and Roger the Dog, begins at 10am today, at Crook Library.
Children should bring a glove and a pair of socks.
From 2pm to 4pm, there will be mask-making and face painting, plus a scrap bank.
Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets to the event cost 50p
