A DISC JOCKEY is hoping to strike a chord in the clubs with his first album.
Christian Kay, alias K Delight, has achieved a loyal following across the North with his blend of hip-hop, funk and breakbeat music.
The Darlington musician has been disc jockeying since the age of 12 and has earned resident slots in clubs in Manchester and Newcastle.
He has now produced a mix album, Waxamillion, with the help of Manchester record label Ruf Beats.
Christian, 28, a former breakdancer, created the record from the studio at his home in Ridsdale Street.
It includes features guest vocalists has received rave reviews from industry magazines and .
Said Christian: "This has been three years in the making and will hopefully sell a decent amount of copies."
A launch party for the new record is being held at Darlington's Central Park venue on Saturday August 25 from 10pm to 2am. Entry is £3.
