VISITORS to Preston Park, Eaglescliffe, were given an action-packed weekend at Stockton's annual summer carnival.
Attractions at the event included an amazing stunt bike show, and circus and theatre performances.
Sarah Graham, 12, and her mother Jan, from the Falcons of Thorp Perrow, near Bedale, North Yorkshire, were among the attractions with their hawks, an European eagle owl, barn owl, falcons and a red-tailed hawk.
There was also the chance to beat the Butterwick Hospice obstacle course and raise money for a good cause at the same time.
Stockton Borough Council's events team has spent months preparing for the carnival and with the weekend enjoying a lot of sunshine it was hoped attendances were high.
Derek Batchelor, events officer at the council, said: "The summer carnival is a great weekend of good, family entertainment.
"We aimed to put on something for all tastes and ages and this year we had some tremendous attractions."
