A NEW Home Office report shows that a large number of prison inmates in the region are getting drugs.
More than 220 inmates at Durham Prison, Low Newton and Holme House, Stockton, were caught out in random drug tests.
At Durham, 15.5 per cent of the prisoners tested proved positive. That was just ahead of Low Newton and Holme House, which both had levels of 11.5 per cent of inmates proving positive.
