A DOG which failed to make the grade with the police needs a new home.
Sam, a two-year-old German shepherd, is being looked after by the National Animal Sanctuaries Support League (NASSL), near Darlington, after he was rejected by Durham Constabulary.
Pauline Wilson, of the NASSL, said he did not have the necessary attention span for the force.
Sam was first taken in by the kennels when his owners' circumstances changed.
Anyone able to offer him a home should contact (01325) 321855.
