THE death of a man who fell 70ft from the window of a town centre flat is no longer being treated as suspicious, police said yesterday.
Adam Richard Ely, 30, died instantly after falling from a third-floor flat at the top of the former Talbot Hotel in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, in the early hours of last Saturday morning.
A 32-year-old local woman, who was arrested in connection with the incident, has been released from her police bail.
Mr Ely lived in the seaside resort but was originally from Canterbury, Kent. An inquest is expected to be formally opened later this week.
