AN open day to showcase complementary and alternative therapies is being held in Middleton-St-George this weekend.
Members of the Natural Healing Centre, in Darlington, will be at Middleton Hall residential home to show residents and visitors how different treatments work.
Therapists from the centre regularly visit the hall to offer therapies to residents. The visits are so popular it was decided to hold an open day so the public and families of residents can try out the therapies.
Complementary therapist Allison Agius said: "Our aim is to raise awareness of the range of complementary therapies available and the particular health benefits of each."
The event will be held on Sunday, from 10.30am until 4pm.
