the Football Association is monitoring the spread of foot-and-mouth disease before allowing the England football team to stay in Northumberland.
The team are due to stay at Slaley Hall ahead of their international against Albania at Newcastle United's St James' Park on Wednesday.
FA organisers say the plan to stay at the hall has not changed, but they are taking regular reports from officials.
A spokesman said: "We are happy that Slaley Hall is situated in hundreds of acres of private land and is outside the no-go zone but we will monitor the situation."
The team will travel to the Royal Derwent Hotel, near Consett, County Durham for Press conferences.
