A NORTH-EAST artist will be showing six of his works at an exhibition next month.
Malcolm Coils, of Newton Hall, Durham City, has already exhibited at the British Society of Painters' autumn exhibition, in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, ten times. This year, he is entering six paintings, including views of Elvet Bridge, Durham City, and Hawthorn House, Shildon.
The exhibition, which runs from September 15 to 23, will be opened by Jean Fergusson, who plays Marina in TV's Last of the Summer Wine.
About 225 artists will be represented.
