A DISPLAY focusing on barn owl conservation in North Yorkshire has been intriguing visitors to the Beck Isle Museum, at Pickering.
Museum committee member Ted Darlington, above, who is also a member of a local barn owl conservation group, put the exhibition together and was delighted with the reaction. He said: "There was interest shown by some of the visitors and some even gave donations to our group.
We're mainly concerned with the conservation of barn owls across many areas in North Yorkshire. We visit farms and places where they can be found, check on their breeding habits and also advise landowners on what they can do to help the bird survive."
